  In 2010, I heard a message given by one of the pastors of this church. I had been a religious person for six years leading up to that message and, at the time I heard this particular message, I was carrying a 4.0 GPA in my last semester of seminary. I knew a lot about God, but I didn't actually know God and was certainly not known by Him. God began to move on me during that message. Through His ministry, my years of religion crumbled and I truly saw the reality of my condition as a lost and dying sinner for the first time. My religion and my knowledge were unable to atone for my sin. In short, God used this ministry to save my soul from hell. For that, I am forever grateful to God for bringing me in touch with Grace Baptist Tabernacle!

  I have grown up my whole life in this church and I wasn't really apart of it. Then last year 2016, the LORD showed me how wretched I was and graciously Saved me! Now this church is where the LORD's presence is, and that's where I want to be. God is growing me more and more and now I'm apart of the church! The others in this church are helping my draw close to God. I praise and thank the LORD for all the things he's blessed me with!!!

  I have lived and grown up in this church. My family has had its hardships and has split up. The people in this church stepped in as my own family and had more of a godly influence on me than most of the people in my family. I developed special relationships with the pastors of this church which had help counsel me throughout the hard times in my life. I'm confident that if it wasn't for this church I would be on my way to hell and live a life of lies and hypocrisy.

  The Lord has moved through this church countless times and His presence is there week after week. I was miraculously saved when the Lord brought me to my knees a week after Christmas 2015 and I am so thankful for those in this church who helped lead me to the Lord and preached the gospel to me while I was in my sin!

  I'm so thankful to the Lord for Grace Baptist Tabernacle. On Sunday, March 8, 2009, the Pastor was preaching from Psalm 51, and the Lord convicted me of my sin and allowed me to tremble in His presence and cry out to be saved from the wrath of God and an eternity in Hell. My life has been different since that day! I used to be very angry, suicidal, and depressed, but after the Lord saved me I could finally sleep at night, have peace inside, and simply know the joy of walking and talking with the King of kings who now knows me personally! I'm just so thankful for all the Lord has done in my life, and how He used Grace Baptist Tabernacle as a ministry to me personally.
